  • Communication Data: Messages sent through our in-app chat feature between employers and job seekers.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your GotKerja account.
  • To facilitate our core service: matching job seekers with relevant job opportunities and employers.
  • To verify the authenticity of employers (via SSM certificate review) to maintain a safe platform.
  • To enable real-time chat communication between matched parties.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We only share your information in the following ways:

  • With Matched Users:Job seekers' profiles are visible to potential employers, and employers' job postings are visible to job seekers.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by Malaysian law or government authorities.

4. Data Security and Deletion

We implement robust security measures to protect your data. You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. Employers can manually delete their uploaded SSM certificates directly from their dashboard settings, which will permanently remove the file from our servers.

🗑️ How to Delete Your Account and Data

To request complete deletion of your GotKerja account and all associated personal data, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@gotkerja.com with the subject line "Delete My Account".
  2. Include the email address associated with your GotKerja account in the body of the email.
  3. Our team will verify your identity and permanently delete all your data within 30 days of receiving your request.

This includes your profile information, job preferences, chat messages, and any uploaded documents. Once deleted, this action cannot be undone.
